Enjoy the flavor of fresh thyme in a variety of recipes. This herb is perfect for container gardening indoors, especially in our SeedGem product. The biodegradable box allows for the herb to be grown indoors when the weather is cooler outside and then transplanted into an outdoor planter for the warmer months. The leaves of this herb may be small but they hold a lot of flavor, fresh and dry. It is not only is this herb delicious in soups, salads, and stews, it also produces beautiful blooms of pale pink flowers at the tips of the stems. Those flowers are edible as well and will attract bees. Though if you are looking to get the boldest flavor out of your thyme, pluck the leaves before the blooms appear. When planting; place the soil pellet inside of the polybag along with 3 tablespoons of water and wait 15 minutes for the pellet to expand. Then push the top of the planter inside itself and place the soil inside the box, plant the seeds 1/4″ deep and water as needed.
