When planting; place the soil pellet inside of the poly bag along with 3 tablespoons of water and wait 15 minutes for the pellet to expand. Then push the top of the planted inside of itself and place the soil inside of the box, plant 2-3 seeds 1/4″ deep and water as needed. This plant produces smaller fruits that do not have any smaller flavor! Perfect for a new gardener or an experienced one. When transplanting, plant the hardened seedlings in hills of rich, fertile soil. Be sure that the site receives full sun and that you have spaced the hills apart enough for the vines to spread and flourish. Water and fertilize as needed. Keep an eye on your fruit as the rind will be darker the riper the watermelon gets. Enjoy your very own watermelons that you plucked straight from your garden!
