Dill is a perfect herb choice for someone who is just starting out in gardening. This easy to grow herb just requires full sun and space between seeds to flourish. After a couple weeks of growth, thin the herbs out so that they are about a foot apart. You can harvest the leaves as soon as you see at least 5 leaves on the plant. Pinch off top leaves for the best flavor.
