Grow your very own by planting these seeds in an area with partial sun during the warm season and full sun during the cooler one. Be sure to thin the seedlings after two weeks so that they are about 8″-12″ apart to allow the leaves to grow and flourish. Either harvest the young leaves for a slightly different flavor or wait till they mature into large leafy plants. Sauté this leafy green with a bit of olive oil, use it as a wrap, blend it up in a smoothie, or toast it to make Kale chips.
