Description
A popular tomato among chefs, Roma tomatoes produce a large harvest of meaty, bright red tomatoes. These vegetables, or fruits to be exact, grow to around 3 inches long with very few seeds. Unlike Beefsteak tomatoes, Roma’s are not juicy. Rather, the flesh of the tomato is thick and dry; perfect for cooking down into rich sauces or thrown into an breakfast omelet or hash. If you are not able to eat the entirety of your abundant harvest of these veggies, you can freeze them for later use as well.
